Venus Williams Marries Her Partner Andrea Preti in Very Italian and Florida Weddings

Venus Williams has officially tied the knot with her partner, actor and producer Andrea Preti.

The couple’s journey to marital bliss combines elements of cultural romance with personal touches, as they celebrated their love in two breathtaking wedding ceremonies—one in Italy and the other in Florida, as reported by Vogue.

Venus and Andrea’s journey began with a dream to have their wedding in the romantic ambiance of Ischia, Italy. Their first ceremony took place on September 18, but due to the logistical complexities of marrying a foreign national, the couple was unable to complete the necessary paperwork in time.

Venus shared, “We had this dream to do our wedding in Italy, but we didn’t have enough time to do the paperwork — because I’m a foreigner, it can take about eight months. So we decided to have a second wedding.”

The picturesque ceremony marked the start of their matrimonial journey and was adorned with the charm of Italy’s beautiful landscapes. Following the occasion, Venus and Andrea opted for a second ceremony closer to home in Palm Beach, Florida—Venus’ roots.

The event was orchestrated by Jennifer Zabinski of JZ Events, who previously planned her sister, Serena Williams’ wedding in 2017.

The lead-up to the marriage was filled with a week of festivities that included a bridal shower and a romantic dinner at Miami’s exclusive Sopra members’ club.

Highlighting the bonds of family, the week kicked off with a lavish yacht party generously gifted by her sister Serena Williams, where the couple celebrated with a select group of family and friends.

“They always say weddings go so fast, and they do,” Venus reflected.

The couple’s official nuptials commenced with a courthouse ceremony on December 19, where Venus donned a beautiful dress designed by Morilee New York. Andrea reflected on their courthouse experience, calling it “very unique, emotional, and deep,” ranking it as “the second-best day of my life” right after their main wedding celebration.

During the ceremony, Andrea made a touching tribute to his mother by walking out to “I’ll Be There” by the Jackson 5, signifying her unwavering support for Venus. Meanwhile, Venus walked down the aisle to “Ovunque Sarai” by Irama, a song that held deep personal significance as it reminded her of her late grandmother.

After exchanging self-written vows, the couple recessed to “Signed, Sealed, Delivered” by Stevie Wonder, followed by a romantic dance to “I Only Have Eyes for You” by the Flamingos as they entered their main reception. The evening concluded with a lively after-party at Sophia’s Hobe Sound in Florida, further celebrating their union.

Venus’ love story with Andrea blossomed publicly when she announced their engagement during a post-match interview in July 2025.

She remarked how Andrea was her source of encouragement in her rigorous tennis career, saying, “My fiancé is here, and he really encouraged me to keep playing … Do you know how hard it is to play tennis? You guys don’t know how much work goes into this…”

Congratulations to the couple!
