Best Fashion Looks at the Emmys 2025

The Emmys 2025 red carpet is always one of the most anticipated nights of the year, and this season it lived up to its reputation. Even before the ceremony officially began, all eyes were on the Peacock Theater in Downtown Los Angeles as stars from some of the most talked-about shows in recent memory stepped out in statement-making looks.

The Emmys are about honoring the best of television, but for many fans around the world, the fashion is just as exciting as the awards themselves. When the cameras flash and the gowns sweep across the carpet, it becomes clear that this night is more than just a celebration of art, it is also a celebration of personal expression, style, and unforgettable glamour.

At the Emmys 2025, there was the sheer variety of fashion choices. Some stars leaned into classic Hollywood glamour, reviving old-school silhouettes that made the night feel timeless, while others brought an edge that pushed the boundaries of red carpet dressing.

From dramatic gowns to daring suits, from vibrant bursts of color to minimalist black and white palettes, the range of styles ensured that there was something for everyone to admire. And of course, with television at such a high point creatively, there was a sense that the nominees and presenters understood the cultural importance of the night. They dressed not only to impress, but also to mark their place in the history of an era when TV is commanding just as much attention as film.

Severance, The Penguin, The Studio, The White Lotus, The Diplomat, The Last of Us, Adolescence, Paradise, and Bad Sisters were among the shows driving buzz, and naturally, their casts brought energy to the carpet. Adam Scott and Britt Lower from Severance, nominated for outstanding lead actor and actress in a drama series, turned heads immediately upon arrival. Scott wore a tailored double-breasted suit in a deep navy with subtle sheen, paired with polished black shoes and a tie that made his look feel both modern and classic.

Britt Lower chose an off-the-shoulder architectural gown in a striking crimson, balancing boldness with elegance. Together, they reminded fans why Severance continues to dominate conversation, not only for its narrative but for the way its stars command attention off-screen.

The Penguin, HBO’s Batman spin-off, followed close behind in nominations and in fashion moments. Colin Farrell brought out a textured charcoal suit with sharp lapels, giving him the mysterious charm his character exudes while still feeling distinctly red-carpet ready. Cristin Milioti stood out in a structural red column dress, a piece that managed to feel futuristic yet soft at the same time. Their appearances seemed almost symbolic of the show itself, dark, complex, yet magnetic.

The cast of The Studio made sure no one forgot that satire can still be stylish. Seth Rogen wore a clean brown velvet tuxedo jacket that contrasted beautifully with a brown bow tie and trousers, his beard trimmed sharply for the night.

The White Lotus, known for its exploration of complicated relationships in luxurious backdrops, naturally had its ensemble cast show up in equally striking fashion. Aimee Lou Wood went for a youthful yet sophisticated look, donning a satin pastel gown that gave her a whimsical air. Each cast member seemed to interpret the idea of luxury in their own way, making the group’s collective appearance one of the most memorable of the evening.

Over at The Diplomat, Keri Russell stunned in a sleek black gown with an asymmetrical cut that played with structure and movement. The dress, though simple in color, was anything but ordinary, with a daring thigh-high slit that added a spark of drama. Her co-star Rufus Sewell wore a classic tuxedo but elevated it with a patterned jacket, showing that even the most traditional look can have a twist. Together, they gave off the aura of powerful characters who command attention both in their show and on the carpet.

The Last of Us, one of the most talked-about shows of the year, brought its apocalyptic drama to the red carpet in the best possible way. Pedro Pascal, a fan favorite, chose a white suit that immediately set him apart. It had a playful yet polished feel, capturing the quirky side of his personality that fans adore. Bella Ramsey opted for a tailored suit with subtle embroidery, challenging traditional gown expectations while looking sharp and confident. Their choice felt like a deliberate nod to individuality and authenticity, values that resonate with younger audiences who admire them.

Slow Horses, Adolescence, and Paradise also contributed their share of fashion highlights. Gary Oldman’s presence brought gravitas, as he chose a textured suit in dark plum that looked unexpectedly stylish while maintaining his signature understated vibe. From Adolescence, breakout star Sofia Bryant wore a soft blush dress with a sculptural neckline, signaling her arrival as a fashion presence. The Paradise cast brought a mix of old-world glamour and fresh experimentation, with one standout being a beaded gown that looked almost like liquid gold under the lights.

The host of the night deserve his own recognition too. Nate Bargatze, while known for his comedy, showed he could clean up for a glamorous evening. His tailored tuxedo, crisp and polished, kept the focus on his role as host while showing that even understated looks can hold their own in a sea of extravagance. He let the jokes shine while still looking every bit the part of a man leading television’s biggest night.

The night also gave room for unexpected moments that naturally trend online. A few stars took risks with bold color combinations or unconventional silhouettes. While these looks may have divided opinion, they succeeded in sparking conversations, which is often the point.
