It’s no more news that Stephanie Okereke and her husband Linus Idahosa have welcomed a second child. However, no photos or information about the newborn baby were shared until recently.
Surprisingly, the Nigerian actress had hinted at possible good news when she shared a photo on social media on the 31st of May, 2022, but no one, like seriously, no one, could decipher it. Actually, it was a confirmation of the news of her second child — a boy.
The photo in question had the Dry actress posing beautifully as she dressed in an Adire Maxi Dress and a matching headwrap while subtly showcasing her baby bump. For most fans, it was one of those celebrity photoshoots but naturally speaking, Okerek was exuding a serious maternity glow the African way, especially with the cowries and pearls adding interest to the look.
“Gratitude… I am sure some of you guessed all along😉😄. #newbaby. This picture is part of @azukaogujiuba’s coffee table book project,” she captioned the post.
In the subsequent photo, she is captured sitting sideways, while her hands gently resting on her legs. Her caption joyfully dropped the news as she confirmed the gender of the baby. “And God fulfilled his word…sitting pretty under His grace. It’s a boy!”
Despite sharing the joyous news of her childbirth with the world, Stephanie has maintained a sense of discretion, keeping her baby’s face and personal details off social media. It was only yesterday (August 13th, 2023) that she decided to go all out with the baby news.
“And here he is, the Faithfulness of God’s promise as we celebrate in thanksgiving today, with our second-born son, the actress captioned of the photo her newborn as she revealed his name: Meet Wesley Osasele Linus ❤️ @officialwesleylinus #celebration.”
Photo: Instagram/stephanielinus Stephanie and Idahosa are now proud parents to two children — Maxwell Enosata and Wesley Osasele Linus. The second child joined the family 7 years after the first child, who is almost 8 years old. The couple married in April 2012 at a private destination wedding ceremony in Paris, France. Congratulations!
