As the first phase of fashion month, New York Fashion Week is always the show not to be missed. In the midst of post-inauguration chaos, immigration ban protests, and Mexico border wall, there’s no stopping of sartorial hits. Thanks to colossal brands like Victoria Beckham, Calvin Klein that gave working women (or even non-working women) options, brands like Jonathan Simkhai proved that a woman’s full wardrobe could come from one collection, where he offered casual “Feminist AF” t-shirts, bejeweled denim, jumpsuits, heavily embellished gowns and Victorian-inspired blouses with high necks.
Let’s not forget about Alexander Wang who diverted to dark, moody androgynous hard-ass collection for fall. Think black overcoats, skin-tight leather pants, and romper stomper boots. Well, there’s a lot more going on at New York Fashion Week Fall 2017 and we’ve zoomed in the runways for the best looks. Keep clicking and check back for more updates.
