If there’s one celebrity who has taught us that some style rules needs to be broken for our own good, it’s Rihanna. She has broken more style rules than we can count, and we admit that some of them are paying off today. Back in the 90’s, if someone had told you that pairing a dress with sneakers or sweatpants and heels will one day become a celebrated style, you’d probably say she’s crazy, right?
Rihanna isn’t the one to blame, neither the street style mavens, just that the fashion industry loves transformation. And that’s exactly what has been keeping the industry going. While leaving her New York hotel on Sunday, Rihanna proved that sweatshirt and pants doesn’t always need to be paired with sneakers. Instead, she embraced the laid-back yet chic route by pairing the pastel rainbow tracksuit with a pair of grey and pistachio-colored heels. She accessorized with bedazzled neon-yellow Moschino sunglasses, Christian Dior silver handbag, with so many rings and bracelet:
