Red was one of the hottest color that took over the 2015 fall runway. Dolce & Gabbana used it on ornate capes, while Zac Posen, Topshop Unique and Carolina Herrera translated it to silk dresses. As that being said, there’s no doubt that red would be one of the major trend during fall/winter season. Though the head-to-toe red seems tricky to wear, but we’re lucky that the 29-year-old singer Solange Knowles was out to show us how to do it. The simple trick is, never go overboard with accessories because the bold hue is enough to command all the attention.

While taking over the stage at the Afropunk festival over the weekend, the singer who is loved by the fashion crowd aroused her fans with her head-to-toe avant-garde ensemble. As Fashionista pointed out, the scarlet outfit was attention-grabbing enough on its own, but Solange took it to a dramatic new level by coordinating her eye makeup to the look as well.
