We’ve said it before and we’ll say it again, designers are hell-bent to make 2017 the year of unimaginable denim trends. So far, we’ve seen a lot — from the Vetements X Levis bare butt jeans, Topshop’s clear panel mom jeans and clear plastic straight leg jeans to those detachable jeans that Gigi Hadid was crazy in love with. While these unthinkable pairs of jeans have caused quite a stir on the internet, Reformation is churning out a brand new iteration that will have you asking: “what the hell is going on in the denim department?”
The jeans, as you can clearly see has no back pockets and belt loops but the front zipper extends to the crotch and way up to your butt. And we’re pondering, what exactly is it meant for? Perhaps for an effortless use of the restroom, I guess. But overlooking the questionable zipper, I seem to love the raw-edged waist that makes it radically distinctive, maybe that’s why the piece is already sold out even at the $148 retail price. But should you be inspired to own a pair, you could you join the names of those on the waiting list. Scroll down to see more of the product images.
