It makes pretty sense to say fashion is getting more interesting by the day. With statement graphics and printed slogans, Moschino is transforming the plastic dry cleaning bags into dresses and there don’t come cheap, FYI:
For $700, this transparent bag can slay its way down to your wardrobe. Going by the product description, the “clear Moschino dry cleaning cape overlay dress is the only kind of laundry you’d be willing to do.” It is made completely of transparent polyester from re-used plastic bags and was first debuted on the catwalk during Moschino’s autumn/winter 2017 showcase, which saw a British-New Zealander model, Stella Maxwell paraded the cheeky piece with a hanger atop her head.
It comes as no big surprise Moschino is selling a re-used plastic bag for $700. After all, Jacquemus’ straw hats dress was retailed at $3,000 and even Y/Project’s detachable jeans were fast sold for a cool $465. But let’s be real, is the dress even wearable IRL?
