Commencing on the 5th of July, the exhibition is set to occur in the next six months to highlight “Dior’s creative periods with pieces from each storied creative director, including Christian Dior, Yves Siant Laurent, Marc Bohan, Gianfranco Ferre, John Galliano, Raf Simons, and most recently, Maria Grazia Chiuri.”

According to CR Fashion Book, more than 300 couture gowns spanning from  1947-2017 are already on standby for display as well as a “wide range of Atelier Toiles, fashion photography, artworks on loan from major museums, original documents, and illustrations by Rene Gruau and Mats Gustafson.”

Although this isn’t the first time Dior is hosting a grand fashion exhibition. In 1987, the celebrity-favorite fashion label held its 40th anniversary at the same museum but as it is reported, this year’s exhibition appears the largest to be held in Paris. Click on to see the images!
