While most women are fond of marking their 30th birthday with their significant other, perhaps at a romantic destination, body positivity crusader Ashley Graham parked a bunch of women of all sizes and shapes and headed to a beach in Costa Rica, where they shoot a campaign for her new swimsuit line as well as celebrate her 30th birthday. “I wanted to offer a range of swimsuit styles that make all women feel confident and sexy,” Graham told Bazaar. “Some traditional brands assume girls with bigger hips, breasts, and thighs want to cover up, but I know that’s not the case.”
Graham calls her new collection “Essential” and in it, there are one-pieces and two-pieces bikinis, both featuring sexy cuts and designs that any woman of any size could feel good in. “After my Swimsuits For All #CurvesinBikinis campaign had such a positive response from people everywhere, we knew we had to collaborate on a line to inspire women beyond body positive advertisements,” she said.
