Designers from around the world last week hit the Nigeria’s oil richest city, Port Harcourt to showcase their sophisticated and latest collections in the 2014 Native & Vogue International Fashion Week, held at the Presidential Hotel, Port Harcourt, Rivers state.
The 3-day event which took place from Friday, 19th September to Sunday, 21nd September 2014 created a limitless possibilities for experienced and emerging international designers and models from South Africa, United Kingdom and USA; and of course Nigeria.
To spice up the event, Nigerian musicians including Tuface Idibia, Kcee and Chidinma etc, rocked the stage with their popular demand song. Nigerian models and celebrities like Uti Nwachukwu, Bryan Okwara, Alex Ekubo and Melvin Oduah were also around to grace the runway for different designers.
The show couldn’t have been interesting without the Nigerian emerging designer and ex- beauty queen, Agbani Darego to showcase her latest work from ‘AD by Agbani Darego’ collection. Her simple but chic collection embraces a luxurious and chic aesthetic that’s affordable with cuts and styles that are flattering to a range of body types and silhouettes.
We are loving this collection; and you too will love it. Click through to see all her collection from Native & Fashion Port Harcourt Fashion Week Runway.
