Lupita Nyong’o Took African Fashion In Style To Toronto International Film Festival

When it comes to the red carpet, Lupita Nyong’o has always been a style icon. And we’ve come to ask ourselves, how does one woman manage to get it so right every time we see her? As if her series of outstanding red carpet appearances in the past wasn’t enough, the Kenyan beauty stepped out yet again in a jaw-dropping African-inspired ensemble for the premiere of ‘Queen of Katwe’ at the 41st Toronto International Film Festival on Saturday.

Lupita made sure all eyes were on her as she graced the red carpet in a strapless House of Herrera yellow dress, adorned with velvet, royal blue floral patterns, which accentuated her slender figure and toned arms. She took her style journey back to Africa, wrapping her head with a gorgeous royal blue African-inspired headpiece and slipped into a matching metallic blue pumps to add an extra wow-factor.

According to Dailymail, the 33-year-old Oscar Award winner accessorized the look with Tiffany & Co. tanzanite and diamond earrings, worth $29,000, a $270,000 sapphire and diamond ring, and an 8-carat yellow diamond ring that costs $325,000 — that’s a touch of class and a proof of African Queen, you know?
